Paris Hilton is a busy woman, there’s no doubt about that. She’s always doing something new and this summer has seen her getting her own DJ residency spot at the Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza.
Paris opened her residency there with her Foam and Diamonds Party on 18 July in the club’s main room. She will be in residence at the club until the end of September. The club has a 5,000 capacity, so Paris obviously has no qualms about standing up and doing her DJ thing live in front of a huge crowd.
Anyone who hasn’t seen her on the decks has probably already seen a little taste of what she has to offer in the new bgo TV ad that was first aired in June. The Simple Life star is a new brand ambassador for the gaming site and during the ad we see Paris at a DJ deck offering ‘Free Spins for everyone’. Of course, she’s talking about free spins on bgo such as the slots game Starburst. She’s not offering up her place at the DJ deck just yet!
With her new role as brand ambassador, Paris joins a selection of famous faces now associated with online gaming sites. Footballer Luis Suarez is the brand ambassador for 888.com and Mel B’s a constant presence on the Cheeky Bingo site. Meanwhile British actress Barbara Windsor has been the face of Jackpotjoy for some years now.
But Paris wears many hats. The heiress may have announced the beginning of her DJ career back in 2012, but what really brought her to the public eye were the different reality TV shows she’s taken part in, starting with The Simple Life with Nichole Richie back in 2003. In that show, she and her friend Nicole Richie tried their hands at a series of poorly paid manual jobs that any socialite was bound to struggle with doing. Over the years, Paris’s celebrity has seen her taking up acting roles in films and TV programmes, releasing music singles and albums. The video for her latest club single High Off My Love featuring Birdman is fast approaching 2.5 million views online.
This year, everything seems to be going really well for Paris. There are now more than 40 Paris Hilton stores across the world, which sell handbags, watches, footwear and perfumes. Paris announced the opening up of a pop-up store to run alongside her DJ residency in Ibiza this summer. And she is now signed as a singer with Cash Money records and is working on a new album.
Work with the likes of bgo aside, Paris is also in love. She introduced her new boyfriend, business man Thomas Gross, to her parents earlier this summer, before taking him to her sister Nicky’s wedding in July, indicating that things are definitely serious between them. And when she got to Ibiza in late July, she put out a series of Instagram shots of herself enjoying being ‘back in Paradise’ and made it clear that Thomas was there with her.
